Achilles is the son of the sea-nymph Thetis and Peleus. Thetis is the daughter of the sea god Nereus and Peleus is the kind of Myrmidons. His mother dipped him in the river Styx when he was a baby, holding him by the heel thus making that his point of weakness. He is the famed Greek hero of the Trojan War. In the war, he was best known for slaying the Trojan hero Hector.
Theseus in the son of Poseidon, the god of the sea, and Aethra, the wife of King Aegeus. Theseus is the mythical king and founder-hero of Athens. Theseus is also known for defeating a minotaur and escaping a deadly labyrinth.
Tityos is the son of Zeus and Elara, a mortal princess. He is a giant and killed his mother in the womb by splitting her open. Hera, Zeus' wife did not like Zeus' children that were born out of wedlock and so she convinced him to commit a crime which led to him being tortured.
Dionysus is the son of Zeus and the mortal Semele. His mother was tricked by Zeus' wife Hera and subsequently killed. Dionysus was then sewed into Zeus' thigh and born a few months later. Dionysus would become the god of the grape harvest, wine, fertility and theatre along with a few other things.
Perseus is the son of Zeus and the mortal princess Danae. He is the founder of Mycenae and of the Perseid dynasty. His heroic acts include beheading the Gorgon Medusa and saving Andromeda from a sea monster named Cetus.
Amphion is the son of Zeus and Antiope. He also has a twin brother named Zethus. Together he and his twin are famous for building Thebes. According to legend he used magic to build the great walls surrounding the city.
